One of the league’s most storied and heated rivalries is played out for the fourth time this season when the LA Galaxy host the San Jose Earthquakes in the latest edition of the Cali Clasico at Dignity Health Sports Park.

While the Galaxy (4W-8L-3D) have the all-time edge, the teams enter the 73rd regular season meeting with the Earthquakes (5W-7L-5D) winning three of their last four games, while LA have lost five in a row in six matches without a win. 

The Galaxy won the lone meeting this year in Carson, rallying for a 3-2 victory August 29, while the Quakes returned the favor with a 2-1 win Oct. 3 after a 0-0 draw in the two games at Earthquakes Stadium.

  8. Honestly never been a fan of Hernandez but always want the best for the LA teams and in this point. Maybe Hernandez should put down his Playstation controller that he likes to stream online and train hard. Just saying.

  10. Bruh I'm a galaxy fan but you know the team needs help when we have a different captain every game. Coach tries switching it up props to him but you really don't have any more options other then to get rid of little pea nuts and using that money on a couple of actual players who will help the club

  12. Almeyda actually made the right subtle tactical changes lately and it’s so great. They played super well, granted the galaxy have been struggling, it’s just nice to see. They touched the ball well, possessed most of the game (though they’ve been doing that all season), and finally were clinical most of the times when it counts. Great match.

  21. For the first time in my life I am hoping the Galaxy keep on losing. Maybe this way fkn AEG will finally fire Klein and clean house from the top to the bottom and rly start over cause this organization is rotten and the players are a bunch of quitting bitches who are just there to collect a check. Only players I feel bad for are Pavón And I wish him all the luck in the world after he leaves we don't deserve him and Araujo cause he is balling and u can see he is trying his best but he is surrounded by trash and I feel for him.

  25. This is not Chichas fault. The Galaxy have no control over the midfield. The defense is terrible. I think Steres is garbage. They need a new back line maybe with the exception of Araujo. Sasha is slow.! Perry Kitchen’s touches are terrible as well. Chris Klein definitely needs to go. He’s garbage.! Dennis as well. I’m in no way defending Chicharito. I think he can also get into better shape as well. Yony over him for sure

  31. Chicharito hace historia, unico jugador mexicano que no puede con la mls, le quedo grande, galaxy es un grande, (dentro de su país) y javier hernandez lo esta hechando a perder, todo lo que toca lo hecha a perder.
